Dr. Emma Vitello
DVM
Dr. Emma grew up in St. Paul, IN, before moving to MI where she would attend Michigan State University to earn her B.S. in Zoology. She spent her first year out of school as a zookeeper, then returned to the greater Indianapolis area to work as a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant before going to veterinary school at Midwestern University in sunny Glendale, AZ. Graduated in 2025, she spent most of her (what little) spare time in veterinary school conducting research on community cats. Dr. Emma’s special clinical interests include feline medicine and spay and neuter. According to her mom, her first word was “kitty.” She is excited to employ her swift surgery skills learned in preparation for a career in shelter medicine while helping to foster and maintain the human-animal bond between her clients and their pets.
In her free time, Dr. Emma enjoys crocheting, reading, and hanging out with her best friend Jasper (11 year-old neutered male domestic shorthair cat, best boy).”
