Dr. Andrew P. Mills

DVM

Andrew joined the Franklin Animal Clinic family as a kennel assistant at the age of 14 and has pursued a career as a veterinarian ever since, graduating from Ross University in 2002 and becoming partner at Franklin in 2006. From the beginning of his career, Andrew has taken a special interest in complicated cases and orthopedic surgeries.

Andrew now serves as the medical director for Franklin Animal Clinic and six other local practices, mentoring veterinarians, teaching support staff, and constantly brainstorming new ways to provide the best care for his patients and their people.

In his spare time, Dr. Mills enjoys anything outdoors.  Open the door and let him outside and he is a happy man.  He loves camping, fishing, and his true passion is classic cars and family.  He has 4 handsome boys and an angel of a teenage daughter. 

Dr. Jaclyn Adkins

DVM

Dr. Jackie Adkins grew up in nearby Mooresville, Indiana and attended Purdue University where she got her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. She then went on to veterinary school at Lincoln Memorial University. Dr. Adkins has always hoped to return to the south side of Indy to serve the wonderful community here. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping preservation breeders produce healthy purpose-bred dogs. She also enjoys canine sports medicine, nutrition, and educating owners.

Dr. Adkins is married to her husband Kyle. They have a newborn son named Bennett and 2 dogs. She enjoys spending time with family, baking, and competing in various dogs sports such as; Barn Hunt, UpDog (frisbee), Agility, Lure Coursing, and more.

Dr. Hailey Ash

DVM

Dr. Ash attended veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and spent her clinical year at Kansas State University. Dr. Ash has special interests in surgery and cardiology, with a passion and love for rescue and shelter medicine.

In her spare time, she enjoys many hobbies including crocheting, playing ukulele, and playing games on the Nintendo Switch. She has a fiancé and is stepmom to two beautiful girls. She has many pets and almost always has fosters as well!
